Welcome to Smiling Panda Early Childhood Development (ECD) Daycare & Aftercare, where we believe every child deserves a safe, loving, and stimulating start in life.
Established in 2018 and officially opened in March 2019, we are dedicated to providing a home-away-from-home experience for babies and preschoolers aged 3 months to 6 years.

Our Programmes
Daycare
(3 Months – 6 Years)
Times: Full Day 07:00 – 17:30 | Half Day 07:00 – 12:00
Meals: Two fully cooked meals daily (breakfast & lunch) + healthy snacks
Learning Through Play: Hands-on activities, fun learning, and age-appropriate development programmes
Extra Murals: Optional swimming and other activities
Aftercare
(Grade R – Grade 7)
Transport Available: From Theo Wassenaar Primary, Robertsham Primary & Winchester Hills Primary
Meals & Homework Support: Healthy lunch after school + help with homework & projects
Safe & Stimulating: Structured play and educational activities until 17:30
Extra Murals: Optional swimming and other activities
Pre-Primary
Ages: 4 – 6 Years
Curriculum: CAPS-aligned Grade R and school readiness programme focused on early literacy, numeracy, and life skills
Balanced Routine: Morning learning followed by rest, play, and enrichment activities in a calm, child-focused environment
Meals: Two fully cooked meals daily (breakfast & lunch) + healthy snacks
